The “Festival of Trees” is a fun holiday themed FUNdraising activity being run by and for the benefit of The Lodge – Huntington Moose 318.
Members of the Moose, local businesses, social organizations, scouts, sports teams and clubs as well as the broader community are encouraged to participate in the event by decorating a free tabletop sized Lodge provided tree as well as coming to the raffle party event on December 6th.
By decorating it (at your expense), then returning the tree for public Chinese style auction/raffle, you are donating your time, materials and talents to help support an invaluable community resource – The Lodge – Huntington Moose 318.
Many Trees will be on display on the evening of December 7th. We hope to have at least 75 beautiful (and some just plain fun) trees available for you to try to win. Anyone can decorate a free Lodge provided tree as long as it is returned by December 3rd. When your business participates, we will post a photo of your tree and your company information on our Facebook page as long as it’s returned by December 1st.
Chances (tickets) will be sold beginning November 15th, up through December 6th, for the very reasonable price of $20 for 25 tickets so if you want to enter to win every tree on display, you would need to spend approximately $80. You do not need to be present to win but don’t forget to put your name and phone number on your tickets.( Pre-printed mail return labels help)
Winners will be announced at the end of the evening and those lucky folks will be able to take their trees home the same night.
There will be holiday music, light refreshments (feel free to bring something to share if you’d like) to add to the festivities. All members of the general public are invited and encouraged to attend. Bring lots of friends and buy mass quantities of tickets!
